It's been two months since we used our new printer. But then it stopped printing colored images. It was missing a few colors. I kinda suspect my cat is the caused because it likes to hop and lay on top of the printer. I tried to troubleshoot it but to no avail so I decided to bring it an authorized service center. But I made a huge mistake in carrying it. I should've carried it in a lying position and not in a upright position which the staff pointed out causing the ink to leak inside and doing more damage. It got sent to the main office for inspection and quotation. Hoping it'll be not too expensive. But sadly, the repair cost, costs more than the printer itself. We had no choice to have it dispose. I made a stupid mistake of not reading the manual properly again and just shrugged it off thinking it'll be fine. Mom didn't blame me for it thinking I didn't know. Next time, I should seriously read manuals properly. Thankfully, our decade old printer is still functioning.

Me and mom's cellphone batteries easily runs of charge after many years of using. We ask the nearest technician how much it'll cost to replace them, and it was expensive. So I decided to do it on my own. Ordered on Lazada a original battery online which comes with a free tool kit to open and replace the battery. Took me two hours to do it because the adhesive is strong and the plastic tools aren't helping much. But I was able to replace mom's celphone battery even though it caused a few small dents and scratch. Well it was my first time. Next time i'll replace my phone's battery.
I also replaced my laptops' CPU cooler on my own as well. Good thing there are parts available online for both celphone and for laptops as well. Had to do my research and take my time to make sure it's compatible before pressing the 'place order' button. Good thing it worked out well. My laptop stopped being nosy. Hoping it'll last long. Next time, I'll be saving up and getting a SSD upgrade replacing my old HDD storage on my laptop It was time to upgrade because its so darn slow. Opening windows took minutes, while our desktop PC with an SSD took a few seconds to see the login screen.
Doing it on my own to replace our gadget's parts saved us time and money. It helped learn a new skill But I kinda understand why labor cost are high. Thanks to youtube I learned how to do it. There just so many things to learn on the internet. Still, asking 1.5k php for cleaning a laptop is little bit too much imo.
I wanted to buy a new PC and smartphone because I they're really slow and I want to upgrade to a new device instead but financial constraints led me to choose to upgrade on what I currently have for now. Because of so many problems, it'll just have to do. Maybe someday, I can buy a new one.
